Welcome to Le Bon Août. We hope you love your purchase, but if something isn’t right, please review our refund and return policy below.

1. General Return Eligibility

We accept returns for eligible items within 3 days, within the pop up period from the date your order is delivered.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in original condition

  • Original tags, packaging, dust bags, and boxes (if applicable) must be included

  • Proof of purchase or order confirmation is required

  • Sale, promotional, discounted, made-to-order, personalised, intimate, beauty, skincare, food, fresh produce, and consumable items are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable unless defective or incorrect upon arrival

Le Bon Août reserves the right to reject returns that do not meet the above conditions.

2. Non-Refundable Categories

For hygiene, safety, and product integrity reasons, the following items are not eligible for refunds, returns, or exchanges unless they arrive damaged or incorrect:

  • Fresh produce and grocery items

  • Bakery and food products

  • Beverages

  • Beauty, skincare, wellness, and personal care products

  • Earrings, socks, swimwear, and intimate items

  • Gift cards

  • Made-to-order or customised products

  • Items purchased during pop-ups, trunk shows, special activations, clearance, or sale events

3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order at:

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • Photos of the item and packaging

  • A brief explanation of the issue

Once reviewed and approved, we may offer:

  • A replacement

  • Store credit

  • A refund to the original payment method

Le Bon Août reserves the right to assess all claims before approval.

4. Exchanges

We currently do not guarantee direct exchanges due to limited inventory and rotating brand selections.

If your return is approved, you may receive:

  • Store credit, or

  • A refund (where applicable)

If you wish to secure another size or item, we recommend placing a new order separately.

5. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within approximately 7–14 business days, depending on your payment provider or bank.

Shipping fees, duties, taxes, and handling charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

6. Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:

  • The wrong item was sent

  • The item arrived damaged or defective

We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as Le Bon Août is not responsible for lost return parcels.

7. Pop-Ups, Trunk Shows & Third-Party Brands

Certain products sold during pop-ups, trunk shows, collaborations, or through third-party brands may be subject to separate return conditions determined by the participating brand.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • All trunk show and pre-order purchases are final

  • Deposits for made-to-order items are non-refundable

  • Delivery timelines provided during trunk shows are estimates and may vary depending on production and international logistics

8. Store Credit

Where applicable, store credit issued by Le Bon Août:

  • Is non-transferable

  • Cannot be exchanged for cash

  • Must be used before its expiry date (if stated)
